Ok, I admit it, paper leather sounds a bit whack, well, that’s what I thought.  But actually, once I’d got some and started using it, it’s actually a really versatile and hard-wearing material.

 

It’s basically paper mixed with natural latex, it's commonly used on things like jeans labelling.  To start with it can be a little stiff, but it does loosen up.  It’s better to stick down than sew, but you can definitely sew it as well, and it’s washable too! Eco wise. It’s only paper and latex, so pretty decent for the environment.
