Olive
Used for centuries as it a very hard, heavy and dense wood. As a magnificent bonus it is stunningly beautiful, the tree itself twists and turns creating totally unique patterns.
As the Olive fruit is so popular the wood is an incredible by-product the trees are pruned, or felled, and the slow growth and hardiness means they are excellent for carbon capture. These trees averagely live for 300-500 years and will often be dated at over a thousand years old. The oldest being the Sisters Olive Trees of Noah thought to be 6,000 years old!

The Olivewood I source is imported from Italy where it is commonly used as firewood due to its abundance and because it burns so well!
