This is pretty cool, leather made from Cacti in Mexico.  This one is a soft leather, it’s got a silky or maybe slightly elastic feel.  The material for this is harvested from the Prickly Pear Cactus, and it doesn’t kill the plant which can be harvested multiple times. 

 

The backing is combination of recycled polyester and cotton, which environmentally isn’t the best. But is massively better for the planet than traditional leather or Pleather.
