What is RAW?
Richies Awesome Wood is a company I started in my spare time as I'm fed up with buying greenwashed products which are actually terrible for the environment, terrible for the people creating them, and created by companies who seemly only care about profit.

I'm trying to create things where cost is not measured solely in monitory value, but I want to reduce the true cost of how much time it's spent travelling, the cost to the people that are creating it, making sure they get a fair deal, and the cost to future generations by not making it out of oil. So, that when you eventually get rid of the item or it breaks, it doesn't spend a million years in a landfill.

Cost is not just money. Cost is the collection of all those things people choose to ignore when buying things that are 'cheap'

The Mission?
Our mission isn't to make loads of money, our mission is to make people think a little bit more about how they buy things. To create ethical gifts and products which look Awesome and you know their history. Ideally don't buy things at all, re-use and repurpose things.

But, if you do buy something, don't buy cheap, buy things that aren't expensive for our planet.
